Ministry of Social Development warns against defrauding the Elderly. 

Monday 9^th July 9, 2007, St. Georges : The Ministry of Social Development wishes to advise the public that there are certain individuals who are taking advantage of older persons and robbing them by pretending to be employees of the Ministry of Social Development. 

This unscrupulous behavior is prevalent especially in the St. Andrew South West area.

The Minister of Social Development, the Honorable Yolande Bain Horsford, is advising persons in St. Andrew South West and the public in general, that they should carefully examine the identification of any one who claims to be working on behalf of the Ministry.

Genuine field workers employed by the Ministry possess a valid and authentic Identification Card.
